When the quote ‘Dreams delayed but not denied’ what comes to mind what do you think of, how do you picture it?
Well, on the 13th February 2025 it was lived and depicted right before people’s eyes.
Nkosi Umi-Enhle Moloi, a matriculant who was overlooked when authorities were searching for the golden achievers of the school.
Fortunately, this was noted and corrected. Nkosi had his own day where he was announced the sixth recipient of the White Blazer, given the honour to wear it in front of his school mates, infront of his beloved family, whom the school deemed as 'special guests'.
The protagonist of the day could not hold back his tears and his family could not seal their pride. His mother climbed the stairs to cover his sons body with an accolade he earned, while his grandma released a sound of pride, ululating for his grandson’s light, as he shined.
The wait was worth it.
“When the time is right I the Lord will make it happen.”
